NEW FULL-TIME NANNY JOB IN PHX, ASAP!
28th St & Osborne: A wonderful returning family is in need of a caring, energetic, organized, active nanny to care for their two children, ages 10 and 5, in the Central Phoenix area. Both children are in school, so duties would include assisting with getting them ready for school, dropping off, picking up, assisting with homework and other after school activities, light cooking and cleaning. Schedule is flexible, with three full time days, and two part time days, for a guaranteed 35-40 hours per week. The schedule is known 3 months in advance. Typically the days and times that are needed are M, W, F from 7:30AM-5:30PM and T, Th from 12:45PM-5:45PM, with flexibility. The 10 year old is an adoring, energetic, and very outgoing girl and she attends school full-time. The sweet 5 year old boy has Down Syndrome and is high-functioning and in need of a nanny to work with him on physical therapy and speech therapy exercises. (Nanny would attend sessions with therapists in the home to learn exercises — no formal training required.) Other than therapy, he is a sweet, happy who needs all of the same things a typical toddler does – playtime, nap time, going on walks, being read to. He attends Pre-K at a co-op school M- F from 8:45AM-1PM, so nanny would attend school with him one to two times a month. The family is looking for a nanny to become more like a member of the family.Domestic tasks while children are in children include: Laundry, dishes, prepping family meals, and simple errands.After school duties include: assistance with homework, in home therapy sessions, transporting kids to after school activities (gymnastics class), snacks and bath time, making sure kids are doing their chores (cleaning room, picking up toys). The family is seeking a nanny who will motivate kids to be responsible and help facilitate chores, homework, and household tasks.
