We represent professionals who have completed long term assignments and then return to us to be placed again. We build one-to one trusted relationships with our candidates and they rely on us to help them to find the position that best matches their skill sets and personality. We are constantly recruiting new candidates locally and nationwide.
What are some typical benefits for household staff?
Most of our families give their staff a one to two week paid vacation after 6 months to a year and 6-8 paid holidays. This is not just a job to your employee, but a career, and they are normally paid 52 weeks per year. If you’re going on an extended vacation, they can do additional tasks such as home organization, servicing vehicles, scrapbooking, spring cleaning, pet care or house sitting. When the nanny is using her car for transporting children or running family errands, there’s a standard gas reimbursement per mile. Check this site for current rates. Additional benefits can be very attractive to candidates and may actually be a great tax shelter for the nanny and for you, such as a stipend for medical insurance.
How are taxes handled?
If you hire an employee to work in your home, they aren’t considered an independent contractor or an agency employee and if they are paid more than $1800 in a calendar year, you’re required to pay half of their Social Security and Medicare and you can opt to withhold state and federal taxes. What fees does your agency charge for Permanent Placements?
After completing the Family Application and returning the agency contract, there’s a $150 Registration Fee to get the process started. We begin sending you select candidates who are close matches for your home. $1450 is due upon hiring a Permanent Employee. There is a 90 day guarantee on all placements.
There is no Registration Fee for Temporary Placements. Temporary Placements have an agency fee charged upon booking. There is a four hour minimum for any booking.
- $20 per day if booked 24 hours in advance and $25 per day for resorts.
- $30 per day if booked less than 24 hours in advance, or major holidays, or if booked outside of our 9-5 Monday through Friday office hours.
- $300 per month for longer term Temp assignments
- $30 per night or $350 per month for Newborn Specialists (also called Baby Nurses)
