NEW WONDERFUL FULL-TIME NANNY JOB WITH INFANT IN SCOTTSDALE, $15- $20/HR!
Via Linda & 136th St: This amazing Scottsdale family with an adorable 3 month old infant boy has been using our newborn care specialists since their son was first born (they gush about the baby and the family) and now Mom is transitioning back to work and they are seeking a fantastic nanny to care for their sweet baby boy during the day. They are first-time parents so they are desiring a knowledgeable nanny with infant experience to work through these different developmental stages together as a team. Mom will be working from home in a home office so nanny must be comfortable with a parent working from home. Ideal nanny is nurturing, creative and can also get connected with playgroups and other nannies since the parents are supportive and encouraging of the nanny taking their son on a variety of social outings as he gets older. The schedule is typically M – F from 8AM or 9AM-5PM however some flexibility is needed because on Tuesdays Mom likes to take the infant to a Mommy / baby activity in the morning and she may ask the nanny to work just the afternoon shift of 1:30/ 2PM- 7PM or 8PM depending on what is planned. Tuesdays can be the perfect day to be flexible if nanny needs to make appointments or tend to a personal matter on a weekday. However, Tuesday available is still required. There is a guaranteed 40 hrs a week minimum. Weekends are not needed unless Mom is traveling for a work event and in that case, nanny may be needed to assist Dad with baby (including overnights) while Mom is away. Also an occasional weekend date night shift would be fantastic if the nanny is available. Plenty of notice is given for any weekend shifts needed, especially for travel. Also, if nanny has availability to travel with the family on an occasional trip, that is a definite perk as well. Their son is fully bottle fed on formula. He’s a happy baby with a good temperament (happiest in the mornings) and he’s a cuddle bug and enjoys being held. He just turned 3 months old however he was born prematurely so in a lot of ways he is still only 7 weeks old. He still has some minor gas issues so needs to be held, soothed and cuddled a little more on occasion. He is taking in the world around him and looking all around; eats every 3- 4 hrs, and getting on a good schedule. They are wanting to maintain a good day schedule for him so that there is a good night schedule. The nanny’s primary focus will be on baby and all of his needs and in addition to complete and total childcare duties, light clean up is needed; sanitizing bottles, baby laundry, quick errands to the grocery store, and maintenance and upkeep in between the deep cleanings. Their housekeeper cleans twice a week. Going on walks when weather permits it is definitely encouraged. The current newborn care specialist is caring for him at nights through mid-July. The family wants to begin interviewing now and they have a trip planned from the 13th – 22nd of July and ideally would like the nanny to start at the end of July or beginning of August.
